Lesson #4 Correct Left and Right Hand Positioning

REALLY Learn Bass Guitar!Who knew there were so many little items to cover before you ever play a single note on the bass guitar. I stress the fact that by going through these first four lessons you’re doing yourself a HUGE favor because you’ll be well armed with proper technique and ready to rock as you progress through future bass guitar lessons.

In today’s video Lane on bass is going to talk to you about the right position for your right plucking hand and your left fretting hand (opposite for you left handed individuals out there). It’s important that you learn proper technique with this to avoid any injury to your right hand while plucking the strings and also on your left hand so you’re getting the best possible sound from your instrument. Like many beginner topics on the bass or regular guitar even if you learn poor habits at the start you won’t notice how they will hold you back until you reach a point where you can’t play quick enough, or you fingers can hit the right frets.
